Zongo Needy Children Foundation (ZNCF) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization in Ghana. ZNCF is to assist orphans who are the most vulnerable in the society and needy people through the provision of assistance. Caring for needy children and youths, provision of healthcare and educational facilities, scholarships for the needy but brilliant students, a home for orphans. ZNCF was formed on the 13th December 2011 as a result of the continuous interest of the founder Umoru Abdul Rahman Leramah in rendering humanitarian services to needy persons in the society, concerned about the increasing number of orphans and children and youths on the street and elsewhere, without access to food, clothing, shelter, education and other necessities of life. ZNCF is set up with a view to bring such bare necessities to the underprivileged and disadvantaged children. Our goal is to help the needy to become some one in future.

 

ZNCF is set up to facilitate and coordinate funding with useful resources to brilliant but needy children in Ghana. The core objective of this NGO is to serve as a platform for donors and promising students to be connected. 

We believe that by engaging these students in schools and colleges, we are empowering the younger generation to yield a positive contribution to their communities, country and ultimately Africa.

To be a major educational needs provider supporting intelligent children in Africa reach their fullest potentials and allowing them contribute to their communities and beyond.

Our mission is to reach out to poor African Students who cannot meet their financial needs with regards to school fees, books, school uniforms and other educational materials.

We encourage volunteers from various backgrounds to donate their time, advice and resources. Our outreach program’s objective is to enrich young people’s educational experience and expand their knowledge and understanding of Africa, its cultures and challenges. By joining the outreach program you can make a meaningful difference to the lives of young school children and students we are involved with.

Individuals and Corporations can offer useful resources to facilitate the teaching of science, literature, health education, economics, business studies and other relevant subjects that are needed to improve lives within the communities these students live in.

ZNCF is taking a very serious interest in developing potentials in sports. It is the desire of Zongo Needy Children Foundation to help in gathering sports equipments, uniforms and other resources to schools and local football clubs. Special attention will be given to exceptional talents in soccer, atheletics and other games like basketball development, and also setuping a community sports center.
